This July, our company organized a meeting and team trip to Patnitop, a beautiful hill station in Jammu & Kashmir. It was the perfect mix of work and fun — a chance to connect with colleagues outside the office and enjoy some mountain peace.
We started early in the morning and the drive itself was refreshing. As we moved higher, the weather turned cooler, and the green hills surrounded us from all sides. After days of work and city heat, the fresh mountain air felt amazing.
The meeting was held at a resort with a lovely view of pine trees and clouds rolling in. Even though it was an official event, the atmosphere was relaxed. We discussed ideas, future plans, and had some good team bonding moments.
In the evening, we explored nearby spots — small cafés, viewpoints, and quiet walking trails. The best part was the foggy weather and light rain that made everything look even more beautiful.
Trips like this remind me that work doesn’t always have to be serious. Sometimes, a change of place brings new energy and better connections.
