‘बोल के लब आज़ाद हैं तेरे’

Hello, I’m Himanshu Kumar,

I hope you are here to know me, from the litchi orchards of Muzaffarpur to the grand streets of Lucknow >> Chandigarh. My story is a mix of studies, law, and the rich cultural life of this historic city.

Everything started in Muzaffarpur, where litchis grow. I finished my schooling at Turning Point School and graduated in English in 2016 from Bihar University, Muzaffarpur. Later, I reluctantly studied LL.B at Lucknow University, completing it in 2020.

My legal journey began during my LL.B. when I noticed a significant gap in legal resources in Hindi. In September 2016, I kicked off my Hindi legal blog at LawArticle. Why? Because when I looked for legal stuff in Hindi, I found nothing, and I wanted to change that.

Next year, I added English content for English readers. Both Hindi and English readers can now explore legal insights and knowledge on my platforms.

Lucknow, a city full of stories, played a big part in my life. I loved eating Tundey Kababi and tried Pakeeza Juice in Aminabad.

I also liked spending time at the riverfront and Rumi Darwaza. The evenings near Rumi Gate were magical with cultural events.

 

In January 2020, I had a fantastic trip to Masoori with my friends. We explored Mall Road, enjoyed views in Dhanaulti, reached Jourge Everest, saw Lal Tibba, and visited Lambi Dehar Mines. It was amazing!

I started working with Extramarks Education India Pvt. Ltd. in November 2021. A big thanks to my manager, who believed in me as a fresher. During my time there, I visited over 30 cities in Haryana, Punjab, and Himachal Pradesh for student counseling. It was like going on a journey to understand how students and teachers in different places learn. This experience helped me connect with the education scene in northern India.

I am grateful for the enriching presence of my friends during my Extramarks days, they enhanced both my professional and personal growth.

After leaving Extramarks in April 2023, I joined WhiteHat Jr. in May 2023, where I worked until August 2023. WhiteHat Jr. is an EdTech company specializing in coding classes for school students. However, I realized it wasn’t the right fit for me, so I resigned.

After taking a 3-month break, I joined Orane International Pvt Ltd. in Mohali in November 2023. During my time there, I met many wonderful people, some of whom have become good friends. I worked at a steady pace and delivered results that made the management happy. I resigned from Orane on July 22, 2024, to pursue a better career opportunity.

Thanks to a friend, I secured a job at a highly reputed company, Zomato. I joined in July 2024 as a Key Account Manager and am enjoying my time working with the team and the company.

For me, life isn’t just a list of dates and events; it’s a colorful tapestry where every thread tells a story. From legal complexities to the flavors of Tundey Kababi, Sharma ki Chai, Pakeeza Juice, the riverfront, and the timeless charm of Rumee Gate—each part has added to the vibrant picture of my journey.
